What is a green laser module used for?
A green laser module covers wide range wavelengths of 500nm to 559nm, including 532nm green DPSS laser, 515nm, 520nm green diode laser. Formal diode laser adopts semiconductor, which emits green laser light directly through a laser diode. 532nm diode pumped green solid-state(DPSS) green laser is not a real green diode laser. On contrary, it is created via a complex set of component.
What is a green diode laser?
Green diode laser is projecting green spectral regions, roughly covering wide wavelength range of 500nm to 570nm, including 505nm, 515nm, 520nm. It is a laser diode that uses semiconductors, not the same as formally used 532nm green DPSS laser system. Direct diode based green laser diode module and green laser pointer are offering high level of laser beam stability, low noise, and high modulation etc.

Diode lasers gets superior advantages of small size, light weight, high efficiency etc. It has got high attention from the very beginning of its creation, which is widely used in a large variety work fields of industry, military, medical, communication etc. However, due to their limited quantum well waveguide structure, the output power laser beam quality is much weaker than solid-state lasers, CO2 lasers, thus in a certain period, the development of diode laser system is seriously limited.
